Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
At Happy Hounds Cornwall, we want our website to be accessible and easy to use for as many people as possible.
We are committed to providing a website that allows visitors to find information about our dog walking, pet sitting and pet care services in St Austell and surrounding areas as easily as possible, regardless of technology, ability or circumstance.
Our Approach to Accessibility
We aim to make the Happy Hounds Cornwall website clear, simple and easy to navigate.
Where reasonably possible, we aim to:
-
Use clear and easy-to-read text.
-
Maintain suitable contrast between text and backgrounds.
-
Provide clear headings and a logical page structure.
-
Make links and buttons easy to identify and use.
-
Add alternative text to important website images where appropriate.
-
Make the website usable across desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices.
-
Support navigation using commonly used browsers and assistive technologies.
-
Avoid unnecessary movement or visual effects that could make the website difficult to use.
Ongoing Improvements
We recognise that website accessibility is an ongoing process.
As the Happy Hounds Cornwall website develops, we will continue to review its content and design and make reasonable improvements where accessibility issues are identified.
While we aim to make the website as accessible as reasonably possible, there may be some areas or third-party features that do not yet provide the level of accessibility we would like.
